Very small part required but very important too!
I'm hoping somone can help me out... My 1991 Ford F150 4 x 4 has a 5.0L engine. It has the ignition module attached to the side of the distributor. The Problem.... It only has one tiny bolt holding it to the distributor, and they're should be two. I tried to get one from the dealership. They say Ford has discontinued the part.
Would anyone happen to have, or know where I can find one of these bolts?
I've tried several auto wreckers, and no one seams to have any 91's in stock. ...... Is that a good thing? Maybe all the 91's are still on the road..... ha ha

try Pick N Pull on the Yeelowhead and 184th st in Edmonton. they have lots of early 90 Ford trucks to pull that part from. can't see the part beign specific to a 91 truck, should be the same for all fuel injected 302's, even off cars. any 88 or 89 and up fuel injected 302 should all be the same.

As original, it's not a bolt, it's a metric TORX headed screw. Cars/trucks from 1983 thru at least 1996 are the same.
I doubt the screws are discontinued...the problem is...there's no part number for these screws in the parts catalogs.
No pics of the screws, not listed in the text either. And...yes, I did look = nada.
btw: In order to get the buggers off, you need a thin shanked TORX driver.
