jas88 is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
Mine had a spring you have to remove before you can pull up the caliper.

rajagiri3 is starting off with a positive reputation.
I went through the dreaded "stuck rotor" issue doing a brake job on the wifes escape this weekend.

After looking at the caliper I realized all I had to do was remove the two 18 mm bolts and remove the whole caliper assembly.

With less than 9000 miles on my 2009 Escape the rotors were already seizing/rusting to the hub.

I removed the rotors and cleaned up the rusty surfaces and buttered them up with never seize....piece of cake.
