E4OD Trouble!
|
The wife is on the road and the 97 PSD with a E4OD Lost the converter seal. She got fluid in it and to a Ford dealer on Winatachie WA. They did the repair and pulled the pan telling her the pan was free of metal and clean. They replaced the filter and on she went. 75 miles later the truck stopped like in neutral. That was it! It has fluid and was shifting fine. When the tow truck came the driver showed her that the trans mount cross member bolts were all loose one gone. I wonder if this problem might be electrical, loose connector? The dealer seamed up front and very helpful. Being Sunday no one was around to talk to. Thanks for any help, PK.
