free 48-50 F1 bed

This is on another forum. Has it listed as a 53 but I believe looks like a 48-50. If it was closer I would grab it...

look's like a 48-49, with the raised side panel's. if i was closer i would take it too.

As much as I need a good bed for my 48, I guess traveling that far is out of the question.....unless it was spotless and free, lol. Gas would only cost $3000.

I just have to ask, why would you make that into a trailer and put a Chevy axle under it?? Maybe that is also the Ford 3/4 ton pattern?

That box is for a F-2 or F-3, 1948-52. The 8 foot express box changed very little those five years and they all had the raised sides. It looks like a very solid box, hate to see it go to scrap but it's just too far away.
