Pool Contractor

Anyone recommend a pool contractor. I need to resurface by pool bottom. I would like to avoid pulling a name out of the phone book.

What surface do you want? Plaster? Fiberglas? Pebble-Tec? Color plaster?

I've been out of pool construction for quite a few years but I'm going to resurface my pool in the Fall. I've already started researching so I'll share the info I find.

Why are you resurfacing?

I have a diamond brite rock pool. The bottom is starting to crumble. i.e. sand in my filters and the gunite is starting to show. The pool is 11 years old.

I think I want to go with Pebble Sheen and repaint/seal the rock. The pool is about 8-10,000 gallons.
