95 explorer lock out conversion

The title says it all. I have a 95 explorer that I would like to put lockuot hubs on. Is there anything special needs done? I have done this with other full size f150 type, but nothing with this auto 4 wheel drive stuff. What is needed and how difficult is this?

Thanks
Ed

Assuming you are talking about the traditional "dial at the wheel" kind of lockouts like traditional 4wd's have, I don't think it's easy if it's ever been done. In fact, the only 2nd gens I know of with manual lockouts are those that have put a solid axle under the front. I don't think the wheel/knuckle design on these lends itself to manual lockouts.

You do have a center axle disconnect on a '95, which you disengage whenever you have the selector in 2H.
