Im keeping my 04 F250 V10 for now. I thought of buying a '08 F250 but I put it on the back burner because Im wary of the problems Ive heard the diesels are having. I guess Ill wait to see if Ford builds a supercharged V10 or gets their diesel problems worked out with the new in house motor.
Ill probably be in the market for something in the next year or so.
Staying with what I have right now. Why buy new when used will do?
09 should be a nice truck though.....have to resist , no test drive when they hit the lots......

It's wait and see for me.......Need to find out if I will still have a job when they come out.

I went with needing a different size truck. While I'm sure the f150 could do towing duties for me, It's a whole lot more comfortable and stable in a superduty. That and I can't afford a new truck.

I'm hanging on to my '03 diesel super duty. Maybe when the F-series models come out with the ecoboost V-6 and the numbers (cost, mileage) are right, I might buy again. I no longer need a big vehicle, but I refuse to give this one away (due to the current cost of fuel) and trade it for an expensive new truck with less power and less mpg than I get in my current truck. In order for me to buy a replacement, it will have to be smaller, lighter, and get way better mileage.
Why? So I can pay more(same trim level), have a bad ride, larger turning circle, higher step in height and higer clearance thereby eliminating many parking garages, lower MPG, I could go on and on...
I knew someone would go there... I'm not getting a F250, The 08 diesel is a pig. I'm not saying I want to tow 10,500 etc, but I want to keep a margin so I'm not right at max.
My bud tows a 5th wheel thats 9,900lbs "dry" behind his 07 Sierra V-max. (Yes thats out here on the bald azz prairie where there are no inclines so keep that in mind) HE LOVES it. Even if Ford had the power to do that comfortably, we currently don't have the legal ability to do that. My tow ratign is 8,800 and is is 10,500. Lets be competitive is all I'm saying...
