Flat towing a F-350

Flat towing a F-350
I have a F-350 5 spd 4X4 with a manual transfer case that I'm going to need to flat tow in the next month. As near as I can find, all I have to do is put both the trans and transfer case in neutral and keep the steering unlocked and I will be good to go.
The Ford towing guide shows it's ok for the 2002 models, since the towing guide doesn't go back any further. Since the 200 and 2002 models have basically the same drivetrain, it shouldn't be any different.
Oh, I'll be pulling it with a diesel pusher motorhome, with a tow rating of 10k.
Any comments, for or against?

With a manual transfer case it's a no brainer. With a manual transmission it's even easier. Putting both in neutral will keep the drivetrain from being damaged for sure. The pump is in the rear of the transfer case so it gets lubed when the driveshaft turns. If you want to be extra safe and are going long distances you could remove the driveshaft, but it isn't neccesary.

And to be honest, all you have to do is drop the REAR of the rear driveshaft and strap it up under there somewhere (securely!)
Does the manual tranny have an oil pump too, and if so, does it run off the laygear (cluster gear) or the output shaft? I'd think it would have to be the cluster-gear.
What I mean is, even with the transfer case in neutral, you could be spinning the output shaft of the manual tranny which might not be good for it.
