eBay Motors: Ford : F-250 (item 150252840776 end time Jun-08-08 19:00:00 PDT) i went and picked it up last weekend. pretty truck, runs good, drove it 475 miles home no problems it seems to skip and stutter when at high rpms and to the floor i think it may be my fpr clogged up. i am going to clean it this weekend. i think im in love... im thinking gooseneck hitch, 5" stacks, rino liner, full replacement, chip. and tint the windows. the radio does not work, do you think they said anything about the radio on ebay description? no..what do ya'll think? thats a really nice truck. i wish i had one...also is that the stock color? if so do you think you could grab the paint code off of the drivers side door post, im looking to paint my truck soon and i want a color like that. oh and they did mention that the radio didnt work in the ebay description....haha

does anyone have a stock radio for sell?

 

I put an mp3 playing one in my '91. It wasn't hard. Drove over 500 miles once pulling my trailer (55 mph) from L.A. to Brideport, CA and the mp3 CD still hadn't fully played all the songs. I don't know what a '97 has but you really need a CD to play Steppennwolf real loud. Think about an aftermarket radio.

 

Nice truck, good looking just wait until you get it the way ya want it then it will be a real beauty. Hmmmmm, all that way with out a radio.....hell, ya should be a good contestant for American Idol then.

Re the radio you have probably done this already but pop a tape in it and see if you get any sounds. It could be something very simple, fuse, antenna
unplugged...

I believe that paint code is LE. I love that color. I got it off another truck the same color. Pretty sure LE is the Royal blue metallic

yup, white is nice but when I decide to paint I want something different. I really really like that blue ford used. I am also throwing around the idea of doing it 2-tone, I have seen several trucks painted white/met. royal blue or white/red that look amazing.
