05 Wheels on a 02 X
Will f250 wheels work on an 02 X? I found a good deal on a set of wheels and tires w/ 285-70-17. They are the solid 5 spoke alum. Anyone have pics of this setup if it does work? Mine is a 4x4 but I dont have any lift. thx

Spacers will work fine so long as you get HIGH quality, HUB-CENTRIC spacers.
I got mine for wheeladapters.com. Fred knows his stuff and makes quality products.
2" is what you want. You can go 1.5" but you'll have to grind down your existing lugnuts a bit or the wheel won't mount up. 2" puts them flush to the wheel wells.

As long as it stays within the factory specs, you'll be ok. Monsta had to do it on his '05 when he put '08 20s on.

The post had been up for almost 4 hours before I responded. I was actually thinking I was losing my touch.

Just adding my .02 cents here.
I was thinking about using 07 f250 rims on my 05 X and had the same problem as you - wheel offset.
I looked at hub centric spacers and they were over $100 each. This added $400 to the cost of a rim & tire package that was well aboe $1500.
I bought 18 inch Ford SVO rims on Ebay that have the correct offsetfor $625. 4 Nitto Terra Grappler tires for $800.
I spent $1425 and have brand new rims and tires. I also sold the old rims and tires for $500 on ebay so my true cost was $925.
And no spacers.....
