Thats great Don. Only loosing around .3 mpg. I lost atleast 2 mpg after installing my DP. I am just now getting back to where I was before the DP.

Why can't I keep my right foot under control.......

So, the saga continues.......

I drove the Ex this week to and from work, and a little around town. Mostly 67-70 MPH on freeway, and a light foot all the way around. I figure ~80% freeway driving.

Just came back from filling up, and here are the numbers:

459.5 miles driven; 28.18 gallons used (@ 5.039 = $142.00!); net 16.31 mpg

This is down from the 60hp tune with my Predator, and down from stock.

Think I'll be calling Jody Monday and get some guidance. Maybe the 60 tow?

Well that was my best guess. Mambe it just takes time. When I first got mine I was at 15 and now it up to 18.3 and it has been going up .2 every fill up for the last 2 months?

That's odd Nick, cause i'm seeing almost the exact same thing. I started off with a 1mpg jump from the TS, and have gotten better every tank. The EBP tube didn't do anything for me though.

That's weird and here is something weirder our engines look the same with the I/C pipes painted red. Great minds think alike

BigJake86 is starting off with a positive reputation.
I got my F5 with 60 towing and 80 economy a few days ago and can't believe how good the Excursion responded. The tranny shifts much better with the 80 extra hp. We have been getting 18.5mpg city on the 80hp economy and will test it on 100% highway for about 4.5 hours tomorrow. We were getting upwards of 19.5mpg stock highway before so I'm expecting good numbers! I'll post the results in a week.
