See my post in the other thread with Morris's suggestion then my addition to his comment. if you dont buy the 429 I will buy it if its available.

Ranchero is cool

38 ford is even cooler

53 ford with a 429 would be cool, but thats a toss up with the 38. Im gonna go 38.

I'm going to assume the 429 is for the 04.
I never liked Rancheroes and you know my thoughts on a motor swap, so guess what I voted for.

im gonna talk to the guy with the 429 on saturday and see if i can settle him on a price. I will also call teh guy witht he 38 and finalize that price. Maybe ill have a 38 with a 429 lol
