OK, here's what I did. Checked the harnesses and found that some were bad. Decided to pull the injectors and send them to Rosewood for a stage 1 rebuild. Reinstalled the rebuilt injectors, new VC gaskets, new wiring harnesses, and made a DIY cold air intake. Disconnected the EBPV. Now I have one strong, smooth running diesel! Lots of power, no skipping, and I love the turbo whistle! Thanks for everyone's input. The job was not bad. Jim at Rosewood is great to do business with!
