Speedo swap

I have a instrument cluster from a '69 F100 with all the gages (no idiot lights) when I hooked it up all seamed fine until I tried the turn signals, when I put the indicator to the left or right the altenator gage went way up and the turn signal bulb did not blink. Do I need to replace the wiring loom behind the dash or am I missing something. By the way my truck is a '69.

Did your truck come with the instrument package? If not it may require a different a harness. Numbers would know if they had different harnesses.

I sounds like you have something shorting out with the turn signals.

what did your truck have original and what type of cluster are you using now is it a hard wire type or a circuit board type cluster?
