TroyM is starting off with a positive reputation.
those wannabe ladder bars aren't doing **** all

those exhaust clamps holding them to the rear axle tube will not stop axle wrap. you need to fabricate a bracket that incorporates 2 bolt holes and put 2 bushings on the ladder bar itself and some sort of shackle at the frame end.

really?

my piss poor design with 4- 3/8 exhaust clamps and no bushing at either end is holding 600hp without slipping. My biggest trouble is ripping the front mounts off the frame. Im breaking 3- 1/2" grade 8 bolts that hold the bracket on. My new design (Kjett is playing a huge part in this) will have a DOM crossmember to bolt them to and hopefully I wont have this trouble.

I realize its a piss poor design and Im in the process of getting another set built that weld to the axle but it will work.

Look at L&Ls and several other manufacturers ladder/traction bars. All they sell is ubolt style bolt on bars.

Ok.....There is shackles on the frame, and dont tell me that my (wannabe) bars arent doing ****. Whats wrong with making them rather than going any buying premade ones for $200+. Thats just stupid and a waste of money in my opinion. These have held up fine and help tremendously on my axle wrap. Most trucks Ive seen dont even have them anyways.
