Number Dummy, thanks I'll see if I can find a number on the valve this weekend. May not make a difference on the valve, but the fact the truck wasn't built until late August of '88 has caused me a few problems in the past...... had to go with parts for a '89, but that's only happened on a few parts.

Im having the same issue with my 89 ford f250 with the fuel reservoir/valve. Instead of the gas returning back to the rear tank, it goes to the side tank so im going through fuel like crazy. Is there a way were i can rig it and bypass that valve to the return line fuel can be rigged to the return line to the back tank?? has anyone done that before. That fuel reservoir/valve is really expensive from the ford dealership and i only use the rear tank so i would really appreicate it if someone knew how to rig them two lines
