Can anyone tell me about R&W Transmissions in Fallon? Are they good? I believe they have been in business in Fallon for sometime. I need my Blazer & Ford trannys rebuilt & I would prefer to go to Fallon rather than Reno. I'm told A-1 in Reno is real good. Any info appreciated, since I know there are a couple of you in Fallon. We are headed to our new home in Lovelock. We plan to take our time, we plan to stay tonight in Beatty at the hot springs, then send a few days in Tonopah & a couple in Fallon maybe. Our lot will be ready by next Thursdays we are told.
I'll ask Larry what he thinks, he's a mechanic and knows all the shops around here. I know he takes the race car trannys to Levrett in Reno, but that may just be a racing thing.

First thanks for the info. Is Dave's on William kind of across the street from R&W? Yea Levritts if my memory serves me has been around for years. They have always had a good rep if I'm remembering correct.
We are in Lovelock now. We are getting settled into our new place. We are going to have to go with satalite internet so we aren't going to be up for awhile at home. That is the only service available where we are living.
When we are planning on a trip to Fallon I'll PM you guys, Maybe we can get together for lunch.
