July 2008 Get Together

I started this to get some ideas for the July Get together. We have the weekends of July 5/6,12/13, 26/27th. There is also a truck pull on the 2nd of August, but I thought we'd do something before then. I was thinking something along the lines of a cookout somewhere, where we could get the trucks together. Post up some ideas, what you think, or when you'd be available!

Friday the 11th is Ceresco Days which involves a 95% Ford Car/Truck Show (My boss sponsers it, so only Ford of course) anyways there is a street dance, beer garden, fireworks, parade, etc. The 19th (Sat) I believe Gretna is having there Street Dance, tractor pull and such (Gretna days), I know it's not one of the free dates but just to let you know.

Im up for anything guys. Ceresco days. Im up for that even though its on a Friday. I go to car shows all the time. But If it was all Ford that would be great. Id love to meet you guys up close an personal. Summer is a busy time for everyone. I will definitly be at Wahoos truck pull on the 2nd off august. a nice GTG there would be nice.

I'm kind of thinking that's what we're looking at, the pull on the 2nd. That will give everyone enough time to plan to be there.

Aug 2 is not good for me my sister is getting married. I would skip that but could be damageing to my health. Im good for July 5/6 or 26/27

Ahh, that's to bad, your gonna miss out, but you better not miss a wedding, it's prolly not worth it.

There is a pull at the Sarpy County Fair, Thursday July 31st. It's in Springfield, NE. Some of the "Nebraska Power Strokes" are going to be there.

That sounds good. I here Springfield has a good pull. I might make that for sure. Hope to meet up with some off you guys. Lets see Springfield, Ceresco, Wahoo all good places for GTGs. If any off you are attending thes events let me know. We can meet up for a small GTG. Just need to know when an where.

Yah I am sure am going to try an make it if possible depending on whats going on around the farm at that time. I wont know anybody so hopefully we can meet up an BS a bit. Like I said in another thread I love truck pulling especially Fords. An it sounds like Springfield has some Ford fans down there. Hopefully you guys that are pulling trucks down there will have some stickers or such on your truck so I know the guys I should be looking for. Love to go to Ceresco on Friday but off course there is another truck pull nearby so I will go to that. Hey Chris I am sure you will be around there. Take some pics an post them up. I would love to see what I am missing. Ann all Ford show. Id love that.

i'll be there. look for a white 2000 f-250, lifted, diesel, exhaust and such. it'll have NEpowerstroke.org stickers all over it.

What time does the wahoo pull start and get over. I could cut out of reception early

Starts at 5 PM an gets over when the last truck pulls. Could be 10 oclock or midnight. Depends on the number off trucks there.

If that was my sister i would probably wouldnt cut out too early. What time does the reception start?
