How many do you have?

I'm just curious how many people have the same "problem" I do. Namely, you find it hard to pass up a deal on a nice old for truck. I happen to have 5 and a half. 3 65's, 2 66's and one nice spare cab from a 66. Sometimes, my wife does not seem to be as happy as I am when I find another one, lol. I can't seem to get enough of them.

Not bad for a 20 year old...My mother actually found me a 63 F100 Uni for $250 which I might go for...

I only have one (bought new in 1965) and don't plan on buying another unless it's a Crew Cab.

I love these old trucks, and it's not a matter of space...parking space, that is.

When I bought it, I was 20 yrs old, 6-6...180 lbs. In other words: agile.

Now...43 years later, "Arthur" has arrived, and I'm 100 lbs. heavier, so fitting in that thing is neigh on impossible.

I have two '64 F100 lwb's (one is a parts truck) and a Samurai (I know...but it is much better on gas and off-road than the Ford).

We live on less than 1/4 acre, otherwise I would definitely have a '50's model F1 and a 1940-1965 Ford Dump Truck, along with something old and sporty, like a '69 Mach 1, a Galaxie, or Firebird.

Too little space...too little time...too little $$$$$!

As in my sig, I have to many, my wife says if I bring another one home I had better be able to live in it, unless it is a 41 Lincoln.

I have 3 trucks, one 65 and 2 66 F100's They are not Restored or anything like that, But I really like driving them, and I like the fact that they are Mostly Original! They have never been painted, Except the front clip on my 66 custom cab which I replaced with another one from the Parts truck. Now the parts truck will become a trailer, I will admit, I would have 6 trucks if the Wife would allow it

It's nice to see I'm not the only one. I almost have enough now I think. I would love to get a Mercury pickup someday, though.

To NumberDummy, thats pretty cool that you still have the same truck after all those years.

Unique Problem

I have four (three on the property and I will be picking up the crew cab this weekend): 64 Shortbed, 63 Uni Longbed, 63 Crew Cab and a 64 Shortbed Parts Truck.

My unique problem is that my wife keeps finding my slicks. However, I am officially out of space and out of money (for the time being). It's great having her so enthusiastic about my hobby and I certainly don't want to discourage her.

Man the fever is running rapidly. I only have two slicks right now ( I'm in therapy & on the wagon); my 65 Customcab semi restored; my newly found friend 64 Customcab, and two bumpsides 78 & 76 model.
Wife is supportive & hasn't left yet; but if I get more than that I'm toast.......

Mitch
