2005 escape
|
i have a 2005 escape we were on the way to the dealership when we stopped at a stop sign and when i tried to continue my escape stalled. the truck will continue to run but once you put it into gear it dies and makes grinding sounds. the dealership says that the torque converter got hot and now might be shot. Nothing was being towed or not alot of wieght in the truck just 4 passengers. Could there be something else that may of have caused this? Or is the troque converter just the minor problem i have installed. also what may of have caused this.
