Who wants to host the next GTG ?????

We would like to have the next GTG the first Sat. of Sept. the 6TH .Any of you interested in hosting the next one post up.

Plenty of parking at my house. Since I've already hosted an event I would be happy to share the wealth....especially if one of the up north members wants to jump in in this.

....but I'll gladly do it if nobody else wants to.

I'd be happy to as well, or maybe over at my dad's place ( more shade )

Its next to impossible to bring a clean truck to my place though.

I'll get a keg, and the wives and kids can descend on my sister's pool. She only lives about 4 miles from me.

I'll need to run this by her of course, but it's an idea.

I'll be meeting with a group of campers at Petit Jean State Park this weekend, I'll check out the facilities there as a future GTG spot. I think the girls will like this one, it has a pool

Since I am building my 53 F100, I thought that I would build a "period correct" camper to pull, check out some of what these folks have done.

We have stayed at the park at Petit Jean before, several times. I think it would work great. I may soon be changing employers so I can't commit to hosting just yet.

Isn't the pool at the lodge? I think you have to stay in the lodge or one of the cabins to use the pool.

We might could use it if we rented one of the meeting rooms...

There is a pool at the lodge for guests only, but there is also a pool for public use. It is located across from the visitor center.

Well I do believe Joe was first to post up so ...... Joe it's your baby now (pun intended ) . If you still want to host it . It looks like Jimbo will be home on leave and will be able to make it to the G2G.
