42 catfish

Thats right everyone. 42 cats last sat. night. 12 to 18" avg. length. It only took 4 hours. Along with 10 crappie and 7 bream. Not too shabby huh?

Just felt like chiming in. Been working 60-70 hours a week. Hard to get alot of time to play around. But the money is good so I will be able to SAS my truck at the end of summer just before huntin season.

BTW cheap canned dog food with holes in the can at about 10 ft depth makes the fish swarm like bees.

sicktight722 is starting off with a positive reputation.
nice, any pics? Did you catch them all on a rod? The most I have every caught was in the high 20's, but that was a combo of setting brush-hooks and fishing with a rod.

Hey DS you going shooting with us next weekend?

Got pics on the camera phone. Did not keep any. Dont care too much for catfish. I prefer trout. I used an ultra light Abu Garcia rod and Cardinal reel with spiderwire triple X purple line 4lb test. Used #4 hook on leader with stainless swivel. 2- 1/8th ounce weights 18" above swivel. Fishing off the dock at water depth of 8 to 10 feet. Bait was night crawler/hot dog weiner combo.

no i cannot come to the range. I am working 6 10's and am about dead after being on the roofs all day long. For those of you who dont know I am a heavy commercial/industrial hvac tech. My busy time of year is may to september. No time to do anything but work. Cut back to 45 hours in the winter and work on the trucks and play in the woods.
