Need door panel removal info for 94 F150 xlt
Novice old guy (44) needs your help!!!
Can someone walk me thru the steps to remove the door panel so that I can replace the front speakers? Also will need rear speaker replacement info as well.
Any special tools? Where do I get them?

I think your doors are the same as my 92 Bronco - there are a bunch of small screws around the edges of the door panel, and one in the armrest recess. Once those are all out, it's pretty easy, you just have to guide it over the door handle. No special "door panel puller" tools required.

yeah take out of the screws and stick a screwdriver through the gap between the plastic panel and the door and carefully take the door off, there will be plastic clips holding it on, if you break some of them dont worry you can buy them at the ford dealership for like 5 cents.

I heard some JL Audio coaxes at one of the local car stereo stores and they sounded pretty good. I'm not looking for loud bass. I just want clean sound.
Also looking at head units. They had a pretty nice Eclipse, also thinking about Kenwood as they are always on sale somewhere around town.
Thanks
Russ

eclipse have really good headunits, they play good and seem to not skip as much as other brands. pioneer premiers are also excellent. kenwood is alright but i think they are overrated. i would go with eclipse my friend just bought one and it is great.

Eclipse makes some of the best radios in the industry. They have probably the best laser assembly on the market today. The only drawback is they are generally more expensive than some other radios with comparable features, and usually dont have some features that come on cheaper radios. However, they do have probably the best warranty in the industry at 3 years manufacturer's defect and 1 year theft protection (when installed by an authorized Eclipse dealer of course). If you were looking for something with a few more features and almost as good a laser assembly for a bit less money, I would probably recommend Alpine.
