where to get an auto.

hey guys, looks like my trans finally bit the dust, or so they say at ford. where is the best place i could get a good e40d for a good price?

Thanks Tim, I shot him an email. How about ATS? they look like they go for 2200 (with 900 core) but they dont come with a Torque converter or a pan. Has anyone had any experience with them?

not many using the ATS. might be good. $220 for the trans is good depending on what is done to it but them they tack on almost another $2K for a TC and Tc lock commander. I would skip them.

Do not sell yourself short on a TC.
The TC is one of the most important on how you use the truck.

BTS and Suncoast made good trans, BTS is the best but you will pay for it. Heard not many good things about ATS never used one, but my buddy had one in his Dodge and didn't have the trans for 6 months before it went out.

RacerX as well for the TC. If you buy a built tranny ready built from a good builder use what ever TC they say to use.

The BTS comes compete including converter. The converter BTS uses will handle you projected 400 hp easily.
