Consider tents, folding camp chairs, CAST NETS to get free bait with here and there (mind the maximum radius rules)(can be got at any walmart sports area), coolers, coleman lamps, a lot of what makes a trip like that best is thought of once you are there...
CRABBING NETS! Definitly. Round nets you can tie chicken into that crabs come in and can be lifted up while they don't notice... About 3 foot baskets.
BRING WOOD! Never pay at the shore for what you can cut in your own yard...
*Nod your head*
Why pay four bucks a bundle for someone elses brush clearing?
Sign on a small bundle of pine wood:
"Firewood - $3.99 a bundle"
KMA!!!

It is pretty rough right now on the southern beaches with these wildlife birdy people. They just completely closed the best fishing beach on the NC Coast. For awhile now nowhere on the beach down here can you camp out at night. They will give you a ticket. Even if you just fall asleep in the truck. There is some campgrounds but some have been closed. I will have to do some research on that. Now there is plenty of beaches open to go fishing. Some you can not drive on though. You can not drive on any of the Northern Beaches right now but everything is right on top of them. There is hotels all over the place around here also if somebody did not want to camp. We have one in Kill Devil Hills on the ocean that I might be able to figure something out with. If we could get a rough estimate on how many people we could get to come and where most would rather go it would help in setting something up. I will do some searching to see what I can find and hopefully we can get something going.

I will. I just ran into Adam old message asking about fishing down here that I forgot to get back to him. I know he was trying to do something but its hard for one person to do it all. I will try my best with helping and hopefully we can get it up and going.

Also June 14th is Dennis Anderson's Motor Sports Park in Currituck Dennis Anderson's Motor Sports Park. They have mud bogs, tug-o-wars and everything else you could think of. It might be something else people would want to do. There would probably be a lot of people from the Virgina Chapter coming down to. Im just throwing out ideas.

Sounds like fun if we can get it nailed down with dates and club discounts for hotel rooms or campsites. If we can get this going we will be able to get more members into participating in our chapter
