Ya, thats what im thinking, a warranty by itself for the tranny and labor associated with it.

Thought it was the rear end until reading all of the posts....Thought maybe the preload was too tight.

Ok, its been over 2 months, the dealership took their sweet time fixing this, the salesman called me the other day and said they finally fixed it if i wanted to take it for another spin. It ended up being the torque converter. So the service manager said they replaced it and pulled the tranny pan off to check and make sure there wasnt any metal in the tranny fluid. So i took it for a ride and its all good, so i bought it. I love it! Got an extended power train warranty with it. So i think im good to go. And ive been looking around at the spark plug issues, and is it true the breaking plugs are not a problem with the 4.6 engines, cause that is what i have and would be very releived if it wasnt a problem with mine. Thanks guys, and thing else with these truck you can tell me?

Congratulations on your purchase, I doubt you'll be disappointed with it...

really, really good move bugging them about getting it fixed, as I doubt SUPERDUTY_untouchabl would have paid for it if you just bought it without questioning.....

and, contrary to things posted on this thread before....these trucks are mechanical, thus...stuff breaks on them! NO strange noise is "normal"!!!!!

Thanks! I love it, these trucks just look awesome. I feel like i am driving quality, unlike some of the GM truck/suv's that i have had in the past. I really feel like this truck, even though i got it with 73,000 miles on it, i really feel like it could easily last me for another 100,000. I plan on doing some stuff to this truck to make it my own, but that will end up in another thread!
