OBD location

Novice here. I'm thinking of buying a ScanGauge for my 1999 F150 Lariet. Can someone describe or show me where the OBD connector location is in my truck?

OK. After a little more digging I found a picture of what the connector looks like. It seems it is right out in the open just right of the stearing column and down under the dash, correct? I found one web site that said it was covered so I was looking everywhere for a cover.

They originally have a rubber slip on cover but that seem to have been lost on most trucks. Oddly, mine still has it.
