"S" "O" and "I" were deliberately avoided in numbering items because of the confusion with "5" "0" and "1"
However, there is a listing on the 53 Paint charts for "S" but it is Flamingo Red.
Here is a link so you can look at some paint chips.
It's hard to tell from your pictures, but The color appears to be close to:
Sea Sprite Green
Sky Haze Green
Neptune Green
Mountain Green
And possibly the 56 color Nile Green.

I don't know what paint chart you have , but, the official Ford Illustrations Catalog lists no S code red for 53. For 53 there is an SS for special same as the 54 & 55. For 56 the single S was used for special.
