can i put my holley tbi on my straight six the tbi is brand new it is for a chevy 305

I would think with minor changes you could, contact holley for the details.

If it boils down to a distributor issue, there are hybrid HEI dizzies for the ford 300

You might check out msefi.com as well. They have a pretty economical set-up, might be a little easier to use.

Heavy_Metal is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
You are better off staying with the multi-point injection that the 4.9 aleady has if your truck is new enough to have it. The holley tbi will not work on the 300. It's not configured for this engine.

Itll work...inliners have been doing it for years...

stock 4.9 efi would be the easiest approach, although its still batch fire, and whether its a dramatic improvement over a short runner with TBI, I would imagine is debatable.

Sorry, edelbrock's website doesn't say much, the list only showed v-8s and 4.3 v-6. Didn't know you could adapt it.

look for a fella with a username tlowe or something to that effect, he has experience with the holley units, he may be able to help you.
