thanks for keeping your eyes open for me hypoid, i have finally got a good lead on a bed here in junction from a guy who might be willing to trade me my old flat bed for a box straight across, which im hoping for but i doubt. although how does one put on a bed? it might be a dumb question but do you just put it up there and bolt it down or do you need spacers and such? never done it before so not sure?

I SOLD MY TRUCK THANKS.

i'm selling my ford truck, xlt, royal blue, reg cab, short bed. it has the 5.0 v8, e4od, 4x4, 3.55 gears. power windows, power locks, gray interion, 40/20/40 seats. driver side door is black and it has an ARE fiberglass tonneau cover. no rust.
i've owned this truck for six years and it belonged to my brother before that. i'm only saying this to try and show that it's been well taken care of. so don't just pass it off when i say it has 288,000 miles on it. yes it's a lot but it runs and shifts like one with way less. most of those miles are highway by the way.
I also have it on craigslist but i thought i would give it a try and post it here just in case some fellow FTE member are looking for something like this. i have a couple more pictures on my profile.
i'm asking $1600 for it but would take best offer

I hope so, but i think it did, the person was talking about how his brother had a 96 f150 also and he had just fixed it up. and his kid was wearing a ford shirt... so it's all good signs for me.

WTB: Ford truck with 300ci inline 6 and 2WD 5-speed with granny 1st and overdrive 5th

Hello Colorado Ford Enthusiasts,

I am looking for a Ford F250 (or a F150 that has this combo) with the inline 6 cylinder 300 engine mated to a 2WD 5-speed manual ZF transmission (the one with the granny gear 1st but still with 5th as overdrive)

I just want the 2WD version, not a 4x4.

I think this combo was from '86 until maybe '97. I have heard that there was a "Heavy Duty" F150 option that used this combo as well. You can tell the ZF transmission by an integral bellhousing, PTO covers on each side of the transmission, and a large/straight stick shifter (see this picture): http://www.bcbroncos.com/zf%20shifte...0out%20web.jpg

I am just looking for a work truck so the condition / color / options are not as important as the engine/transmission combo. If you have these as parts (not a complete truck but just the engine and/or transmission) let me know and I might be interested as well. Also interested in performance parts for the 300 (Offy C intake, etc).

1985 Ford F150 4x4 Camo $2500

1985 Ford F150 4X4 with the reliable straight six (inline six), 4.9L, 300. 4-speed manual transmission with granny gear. Make me an offer.

The good:
4x4 works great.
Newer tires and wheels are in great condition.
Interior is clean and has recently been fixed up -- new carpet and courtesy lights.
Rebuilt carb.
Recent valve adjustments.
Recently installed new valve cover gasket.
Clean title in hand.
Two gas tanks -- both work!
Typically rusted-through floorboard has been professionally re-welded.
Camo paint-job. One-of-a-kind for hunting.

The bad:
A few rust spots in the usual places.
A little cold blooded -- once warm, it'll fire right back up though.
Gas gauges dont work (need to replace fuel tank sending unit).

Price is $2500 or best offer (unless someone here has a 1979 F150 to trade). Hoping to sell quickly in order to purchase an older truck like my grandfather's that I've already located.

1967 F-100 for sale.

I don’t have time to keep the truck up anymore, so it just sits. I’d like it to go to someone who can appreciate it for the antique it is. This would make an excellent restore project.

The truck currently has an FMX transmission installed, but I also have a C6 in the garage that will be included with the purchase. I also have an extra grille that’s really straight but pitted, and almost all the chrome that is currently not installed on the truck. The majority of the chrome is old and beat up, but it’s still there.

It has a fully rebuilt 390 that I installed in the late ‘90s. I estimate the motor has around 15,000 miles on it. I had it bored, new pistons, the crank was balanced, new cam (COMP cam), new rocker shafts, new everything pretty much on the long block, Cloyes true-roller double roller timing chain, etc, etc. I still have the receipt with all the information on the build, and that will go with the truck. It has an Edelbrock intake and carb with manual choke.

Extra parts
The body is rough
Good brakes
Everything leaks
New steering gear (leaks)
2 extra passenger doors
New king pins/radius arm bushings
New radiator and fan shroud

I have a K&N intake system for 87-96 f150 without MAF system. Used for a summer but been sitting in my garage ever since. SOLD!

Also have F150 Moog coil springs. They are brand new from summit. I had opened them and installed once and then put drop coils on. Asking $75
