i have a 95 psd that runs on 4 cylinders (driver side only) and my buddy has a 120 idm from a 2000 for 100 bucks but i dont know if it will fit my truck. how much would it cost to send it in to beans and get new injectors.
and all my injectors work so dont tell me that 4 injectors all on the right side of the motor went out at the same time. is it possible that the wiring harness is shorted out and caused the idm to blow out on the right side or is that a notorious problem?

 

Check this out. The price is right and I would guess it is your harnessfor all four to go out at once.

I would say harness also. But you can check your IDM using your buddies. It will work. Beans charged me $100 to do the IDM mod to 140v.

If the wiring checks out also check where the main harness goes over the drivers side VC for chaffed wire. If the wiring checks out chances are the IDM is bad. Test with your buddies.
