I used about four cans of it and sprayed it on all carpet and the felt on the ceiling too, front to back. Let it dry and did a second coat. I covered the seats, dash, etc, with a sheet to protect from overspray, afterwards I cleaned up the overspray from windows, molding, etc , I assume it will do its job and protect, as I have not tested it.
