The sensor on the right was advertised on ebay for a 96 ford.

This is what i found :


F6Tz-9F838-A (96-up , marked julian date 6318 or higher) What does this mean??

My sensor is on the left, of course. Truck is a 96 F350.

Why pre 97 are diffirent than 97????

 

IS there anything stamped on the sensor itself? What numbers does it have?

 

that sensor is right. i just replaced mine and i got it threw a ford mach. on the side and through all the computers that have been through my truck lately it worked percfect, just alittle different shape.

 

either one will work, its like them telling you that the 99-03 cam sensors dont work in the 94-97 trucks

 

So will this part number for the 97-03 work on a 96? # F7TZ-12K073-B

 

Any of you fellas know where the computer {PCM} is on a '97 Expedition...?
I'm tryin' to install a B&M Shift~Plus Unit on my truck....I have to locate the Powertrain Control module and jump into (2) wires to change the shift characteristics of the Trans.
Any HELP would be much appreciated~~~~Thanx, G~
