Take it back to the alignment shop and complain about it.

going back to alignment shop this week. called them yesterday since its been alomost a month since they changed tie rod end and aligned it they said we probably run over a curb or something like that even though we only put about 30 miles on it since alignment. Will have them check front tires though didnt think about that. thanks for your help very appericated any more ideas would be appericated

I am glad they are working with you, they should. Front ends are more complicated than people realize, and it's hard sometimes to figure problems out. If they get it back and think it's the tires, they will probably rotate and or balance them. A good alignment shop will usually guarentee the vehicle drives correctly when they are done, not just put it on the machine and turn a few adjustments and give it back to you. Sounds like they already checked it over once, since they replaced a tie rod. Hopefully they will find the problem.

this is a fairly new new shop in town. but i have nothing but good things about this shop, and there prices are every cometive with other shops in town. so we thought we would give them a try. so far we are pleased with service, but truck still isnt right. also when a problem isnt contious its harder to find. so we are giving them the benifit of the doubt.

It's been my experience with a wild shake, that something is still loose. I had a truck that did this sometimes when you hit a bump. Turned out it was the shock mount/bushing was loose on one side, letting the wheel go crazy when it bounced over a bump.

Something to look for on these trucks are frame cracks around the steering box area, and broken steering box mount bolts.

update

got truck back from shop friday all they did was rotate tires & check the front end over again. the said nothing wrong with front end but they thought that pinion bearing was bad.
Dad myself and a buddy just completely rebuild rear end everything new execpt the axle shafts, all new bearings new ring and pinion new seals new u joints about a month ago. but they say pinion bearing still bad. but i dont see how that will make the front end shake as bad as it does.

Your pinion bearing has nothing to do with your front end shaking. Especially because it is NOT even turning without the transfer case being put into 4WD and your hubs unlocked.

I would take it to another shop that knows what they are doing.....

Well Guys thanks for all your help it is greatly appericated as always. given some ideas i nvere even thought of checking. Last night i found the problem. as Franlkin2 suggested the frame is cracked just behind the gearbox. Alignment shop said they never heard of it before, I'll not be using that shop again. I'll go back to my regular alignment shop. Anyway now i have to figure out the best way to fix it now. And thanks again for everyones help.

Just out of curiosity, are you getting any kind of popping or other noises as you turn the wheel?
