Correction….. WALJON, Thanks’ for your hint on the oil in the wire connection. It pointed me to the right side valve gasket.
Thanks to all that replied to the help me out.
I have the new gasket and valve cover harness installed and tested. Ran out of daylight to get all the bolts into the valve cover.

Where the male plugs on the outside harness ok ?

Glad you figured it out and got it fixed! I should mention that you should use an ohm meter and check the resistance on your glow plugs, to be melted like that I would think you have a bad glow plug with too much resistance .

The male plugs were ok. I will check the glow plugs.
