Hey guys, I am from Spotsylvania, Virginia and just figured I introduce myself. Im Jesse I am 21 years of age and just bought a used pickup. Its a 2003 f250 PSD 4 door short bed Arizona beige up top and black on the bottom. It has 67,XXX miles on it so who ever owned it before me (since I got it from a damn dealer) I hope you took good care of it. Hopefully I will see some of you guys at events or even be able to get some advice. Thanks in advance Jesse.
Welcome Jesse, as Henry said, read though the Open air garage thread. I live up in Springfield, but my buddy Nick and I run the bogs all over Stafford, Fredericksburg, and Spotsy. Heck if you went to Mountainview's bog this past Saturday, you probably saw my green F-150.

thanks i have read thru the open air garage thread a bit. im working a contract overseas right now so i am unable to attend any of the bogs or anything fun for that matter. ill be home in oct so any after that i will surely be at.
question for any of you local folks tho. do you know of a good mechanic that can do my head studs in my diesel for me? id like to either meet a good diesel mechanic or find a decent dealer to get my studs installed. thanks in advance
Believe it or not, Purvis Ford is really good with the 6.slows. I had some warranty work that needed to be done on mine and they took care of it no problems. And in checking around, they are rated one of the best service centers in the mid atlantic region. Other than that, I really don't know any other full time diesel shops that are up to par on the 6.0
Yeah I had Purvis do some routine maintenance on my truck (since I don't have the means to do it right now at my apartment) and they did a good job. Fit me right in and did good work, and I have a 7.3L diesel.
