The only yard I have checked is the Pick-N-Save here in Roanoke. I typically avoid local yards, as most of them want $800+ for an axle from my experiences.

I'll call around though...as it's been 4-5 years since I've priced one through a yard...

As an FYI the header panel now on the truck is glued in three places. In March 2013 it suffered significant damage in an accident which destroyed the grille and bumper. The panel and glue has held up since then w/o issue.

I'm am doing the 05-07 upgrade and don't want to do any cutting.

Last summer, I found a nice used short bed in the right color (RED) but I was a day late due to other things I was doing.

So.. still looking for a good short bed for my '01 F-250 Super Duty (prefer RED)

My bed is really rusting out at the wheels thanks to Ford's better Idea of putting foam between the inner and outer side panels. Arrrg!

Anything rust and damage free would be considered.
