I have driven a truck since 1980. Will never own a car again unless its a Mustang GT for the wife. Thats if she will ever get rid of her 07 Screw 4x4. Since I'm 6'5" its easy to get into a car, but a bear getting out..I love my 07 Screw Lariet. Only way its going anywhere is when i trade ti for another..Even though i drive 52 miles one way to work, it doesnt matter. Believe it or not i avg 19.1 mpg with the 5.4. So i drive the entire week on one tank.........................

when the 2 girls show up, I'll have 3 kids...so 3rd row seating was a requirement. and no minivans allowed. My Mustang GT was about to be completely useless, so I bit the bullet and bought Mopar. paid $20k for a fully loaded SUV with 40k miles, and the Hemi. Knock on Dodge if you want (I sure do...alot), but that Hemi is a strong beast.

Exploder: only comes with v-6 or the 4.6...couple that with the 0 cargo space if it has 3rd row seating...wasn't an option

Expy: didn't like the $$$. I was looking at paying $35k for a USED 2007 with power windows and nothing else. It did have 3rd row seating, and the 5.4 at least. A new one would cost me over $40k to get anything decent. I did find a few 04/05's, but they were to high in mileage and looked like butt

I did...

Just bought a new 2008 F-150 XL with the sizzling Vee Six.

Only options are the automatic and 3.55 differential. And it's red.

I will, however, be adding enough farkles to make Jane less plain.

Well this is my first post, but it seems appropriate. I just bought (2 days ago) an '05 Lariat 4x4 screw black on black leather with a 6" lift and 35" Mickey Thompsons. I will be posting pics shortly (once I take them).

I can't do the car thing either.

Cheers.

My dad just bought some tricked out f150 deal it was the top truck and they gave him a BRAND NEW focus! His truck has ever known option known to man i think he paid like 39.... it had some after market wheels on it brand new also He could drive a tank to work and its ok on gas ... he works 1 mile away from it lol!

When i rode in his truck i was shocked it was like a spots car the way it drove.

Just bought F150 XLT Ext

Just got back into a truck after a several year hiatus. She's a 2006 F150 XLT Extended cab, 4X4 with 57K and the 5.4. I hope I got a decent price, 12,500 out the door. Should pick her up on 6/4/08, needed a driver's side mirror.

i prefer to keeping driving my f150. i just purchased my 06, from my sport trac. i sometimes wish i wanted another year to buy a full size truck (previously owned a mid size sport trac). if i just waited another year, i could have the new 09's. but at the time, i didn't know they were going to a new body style. i went with a 7yr loan on my king ranch and at 450 a month. so it might be able while until this truck gets traded in, especially it was a KR that cost me 30,100 when i finally go it out the door!

i really don't want to do the car thing either. in my wife's mustang its cool but my shoulder width just doesn't cut it for me. in my sport trac i felt kind of cramped in the seat. i have very WIDE WIDE WIDE shoulders and not to mention i have a 51 inch chest, so you guys got an idea of how wide i am. the only car i didn't feelt cramped in is my old school 73 mustang mach 1 with a blasty 46 baby!

i love the f150 because i got plenty of room width wise. i'm only 5'10 and all but i'm 235lbs and i constantly always tell myself i am not big enough so i keep pumping up those heavy weights at hte gym!
