I'm hoping he still can because I would like him to reprogram my Edge after I do some exhaust work. I hear about Gryphon about 2 weeks after I got my Edge

He still can. He worked out an arrangement with Edge that protects them from CARB. You have to send him your unit, he puts a Gryphon housing on it and then send it back with the custom tunes. The repackaging is a nominal fee of about $25 and the custom tunes are $50 each. When you get ready, just give him a call.

How much is it to convert the edge. I have one with an CAI and under heavy load it throws a forced throttle limit code (p2105 I believe). Called Edge they said they know of the problem and are working on a tune for it. Told me to call back in a month and check with them.

The Edge tune is for a stock intake only. You are probably running very lean with the CAI and at risk of severely damaging your motor. I would not run the CAI until you get a custom program that is tuned for it.

Well i got my tuner in about 5 days after i ordered. Installation is pretty straight forward. First impressions of the packaging are really high. They do a nice job of putting everything neatly together. I am still waiting on the custom tunes for my specific hex code. I have just been running on the shift enhanced tune #1 (pre-installed canned tunes that come with it). I can really say that it shifts a WHOLE lot better than before. I have not tried any of the other tunes yet as i only have 4200 miles on my truck. I am going to wait till i get a few more miles on it before messing with the tunes. Also the info that it can display is really helpful. I don't have to have a gauge for everything i want to monitor. I am quite satisfied as a Gryphon customer.

I'm curious to what would ford would say about the indash Gryphon for warranty? Or do you have to remove before taking to ford for service?
