I've been looking to Ebay to find a IDM to do my first 140v mod (just incase) found one that claims to be "new" but listed for a 99. They are saying the OBS and SD's run the same IDM, right/wrong?

Correct. The IDM 120 from the 99 will need a different resistor than your IDM 100, but they are interchangeable.

They aren't technically the same but each of the three IDM, IDM-100, IDM-110 and IDM-120 will interchange freely. But like Scott said they each require a different resistor to mod them.

I think the 100 and 110 both use the 75K. Only the 120 uses the 73.2K.

That sounds about right. I guess I have only heard of 2 resistors mentioned.

Thanks for the replies! I'll keep watching to see how high it goes. Don't think it'll be much of a problem (electrical doesn't bother me) but just incase....

I saw recently that one of our FTE members has one listed in the classifieds. You might PM him and see what he can do if it gets too high.
