1994 F250 Gauge Cluster Question
GRoup,
a friend of mine just bought a 94 F250 HD and wants to add a tach gauge cluster. Since the F150's of 94-95 had airbags and the 3/4 ton on up did not, what year clusters will interchange with his? Can he use any non-airbag 92-96 gauge cluster?? Thanks in advance.

He needs to use a 94-95 cluster only and pull the Airbag bulb from the cluster. A 96 will work as well but the ABS disconnects, just pull the ABS bulb from the 96 cluster and use it.
A 92-93 cluster will not work correctly. Don't even try it. The charging system will disconnect if you do.

The swap is super easy, and there's an article with directions posted in the articles section.
Just make sure you stick with clusters from the correct model years, and remove the airbag lamp.
Use caution when you remove the headlamp switch and the dash bezel, I managed to mangle mine because it was brittle from the sun.
