2002 F150 Harley Davidson

We are looking at an F150 Harley Davidson 5.4 Supercharged in the UK.It looks fantastic,is LPG converted but the miles are high at 275,000.Is this a very high mileage on an F150 or does it still have a lot to give ? It has been regularly serviced.
We would appreciate any feedback.
Many Thanks.

I don't have much help but do you know how long it has been converted. We bought some BBC years ago that were LPG motors from day one and with real high miles they looked brand new inside, very clean burning motors on LPG just down on power a bit. Take it to a shop and have them run a check on it and see what the comp and scans look like. Also is the price good enough that if you end up putting a new motor into it in the next year or two will you still be happy with the purchase! Good luck.

For a supercharged engine that's a lot of miles. The single best thing you can do to check on the condition of the engine is to take it to a mechanic who can inspect it with a simple compression test of each cylinder and an oil pressure check. This will be less an hour of his time so it won't be expensive. Good compression and oil pressure are the two best indicators of condition. )

That is a lot of miles. I'm curious why anyone would convert a 5.4S to lpg?

Ever see the cost of gasoline in the UK ? Bet it is well over $10/gallon now.
