GVWR vs Axle wt

So, if my total wt. is 7080 lbs and my GVWR is 8800 can I only load the diff into the bed?

My axle ratings are 4600 for the front and 6XXX for the back.
I weighed in at 4030 on the front and 3XXX on the back.
Can I put in another 3,000 lbs in the back roughly to up to 6000lbs total on that axle or will I be overloading it.

Which set of numbers should I go with?

its not really a question of either one or the other. When you go over 8800 you are over loading the truck. but you would also be overloading the truck if you added an 800 pound snow plow to the front becuase while the total gvw is under 8800 your front axle is over loaded.
