I am in the process of building a 1952 F5 COE and have a 2 speed rear axle that I don't need. I am not allowed post to classifieds yet but thought I would revive this thread and see if there is any interest in one of these. I don't really know what condition the axle is in and wouldn't be looking for much more than the scrap value. Basically it's in my way in the shop and I don't need it. However I would hate to scrap it if someone else needs it for their project. Same thing goes for the front as well.

Hero, hate to tell you but unless it is someone with a stock truck needing it, those are worth scrap. I even tried giving away the set from my 49 F-6 COE, could not even find someone to take them. Mine are long gone now probably rebuilt into a Kia or something, but the principle is the same - nobody wants or needs the stock axles. If you can find someone that still is using the stock axles in their truck and would pick them up from you, let them have it free. Good karma you know? Also beats having it remade into some made in china crap or similar.

On the other hand you never know.

It might help to know where you are located, Hero.

Whoops...thought I had my location on my profile. It's updated now. I am in Portland, OR.

Also 38Chevy454 I say your COE in person at Bonneville. Cool rig, my 52 will end up being fairly similar if all goes to plan. Maybe one day our trucks we'll meet on the salt.
