On my 2004 it is buried in the air box somewhere. I still cant find it????
Need to clean it but just having a problem locating it.
It was easy to find and clean on my 99.

Just cleaned mine this weekend along with throttle body. WOW, did my truck wake up.You guys were right on the money. Shifts are better, feels like more clydesdales are under the hood.Installing air intake and power programming this coming weeked. Can't wait on that!!!
The MAF is in the back-end of the air box - You need to remove the inner insert - it just snaps into place.

Did mine last night, but did not disconnect the battery. Started it up, sounded the same, but when I hit the road all I can say is WOW!!! Don't know if it will help the mileage, but V-10's and mileage is like mixing water and oil. THANKS guys.

It's better to do it, so that the computer recalibrates itself ...
If I remember correctly, it does it at WOT for a certain period of time, but don't remember exactly....

Leave the lights on, that'll drain the PCM's capacitors quicker too...
15 mins? I don't know, I always leave it off for a few hours, never really checked if codes disappeared any earlier. I've heard of others doing it for 15 minutes, can't vouch for them

Don't know if its right, but on a single battery car/truck I always take pos off and stick it to the ground so it makes good contact, and leave it. 15 ussualy gets it, on my own stuff, I leave it overnight, just to make extra sure , LOL. But they tell me i got something called ocd whatever that is, that makes me do things like that, and insist that you straighten the seat belts when you get ready to get out.
I just cleaned mine. I made a notiable difference. I can tell more in the shifts than the engine power. It does seem to pull harder above 3K RPM than before.
Thanks for the tip.
