OK so it looks like my truck is going up for sale.

Well, it looks like I'm going to sell my truck if I can get a reasonable amount for it. I have to free up some space. If you know anyone that need a great running and reliable truck send them my way.

I decide to post here first to let my friend that know how good the truck is get a first crack at it if they wanted.

The price $5800:

This is the latest shot with side exhaust, pin stripes taken off and wranglers on.

New headers, gaskets and dual exhaust. This was all within the last month or two.

Here are some older shots. She looks even better now:

I know it's sad but, it's the right choice for me right now. Cash is King !!!

AJ, if you still have it, you could park it on the street or in the parking lot across the street from Vintage during the show. There will be hundreds of car/truck people there. I bigo red sign would get their attention. The earlier that you get there, the better parking place you'll get. If I had room, I would buy it. Jag

AJ...might be too late for you, but this weekend is Graffitti Weekend in Modesto, lots of stuff going on...the wife and the ding-a-ling twins just headed out to MJC to get the '68 Vette registered for the show and cruise tonight.

Gonna be a lot happening in Modesto area this weekend for older cars/trucks...

Me...well I'm truning some wrenches on yet another project

So some lady stopped by the truck today as I was cleaning her up for the weekend. Said she wanted to talk to me about my truck and would return later in the day. She had a meeting with a fencing contractor (Realtor I'm guessing) and wondered if I'd be about later in the day. I told I would. She didn't show up. However, I think she probably will this weekend.

I'm putting the truck on the street for sale and hope that will generate some interest.

I hate selling stuff because it always seems that people like to waste my time.

Oh well, such is life ....

Cruise would have been fun. I wonder if they'll have another one Saturday night. I imagine it would still be worth the trip over there just to see it.

Well, this is the last weekend to sell my truck. I figured I'd bump it up the list.

Anyone interested in a nice old truck that runs perfectly. Nice work truck or cruiser for someone. Excellent Sony stereo. I hate to see her go but.....

If she doesn't go .... I'll be happy to store her for a couple years. It just seems like a waste to have her sit somewhere when someone could really enjoy this beauty.

Past it forward for me guys.... Thx AJ

P.S. Can use the dough taxman screwed up now I have a tax bill from 2006. Doh !!!

Check with the laws in your city...here in LA LA Land, several cities will give you a ticket if the vehicle is parked on the street with a for sale sign on it.

Santa Monica is the worst city of all to try and sell a vehicle privately.

btw: If your truck was a Super Cab, I'd a made you an offer for it.

It's a sharp truck, but I need more space for my overfed carcass.

Yeah, they do ticket if you have your car with a For Sale sign parked on the street.
If your not is a crowd of other cars your safe. If other people start making a car lot of the street you better move your car quick or you'll get a nice little ticket around here.
I happen to know the local cops and they leave me alone though.

The thing is my truck is too nice to sell really. It works really good. It's a space thing Mike is going to help out there. I just don't want to impose. For sure, I'm not going to give up my JEEP or Pathfinder. The Pathfinder can tow the boat with ease and has A/C with 45K on it and new wheels. The JEEP can be towed behind the motorhome has 47K on it and is really nice...

It's a hard call. More guys should have this type of trouble to deal with. ;-(

If only I had been working for the last year or so. I would have bought a barn or something.

AJ...like I said, no issue at all, in fact, I'm thinking of selling off a forklift I have in the barn out back, plus wanting to get the VW done (that's in the same barn) and on the road for my sister...plus just clean out that damned barn of all the stuff that's in it, that doean't need to be there.

means, you won't have to spend any coin for a shelter, we'll have plenty of room to store it inside.

Keep the truck, you want the truck.

5K won't make a difference in the long run, will it?
