I have been talking with a fellow that has a portable dyno and I'm going to go check it out this weekend . I will see what kind of deal he can give us but I need to know how many people would be interested in this. Dyno runs like this usually cost $60.00 to $75.00 per truck for 3 pulls he also has a hourly rate of $150.00 for the first hr $100.00 per hr after that with min of 2 hr charge. He offers services for Gas & Diesel up to 1200 HP &1400 ftlbs of torque, it measures HP, Torque,Rpms ,1/4 mile and 1/8 mile times , Air/Fuel ratio .
If any of you motorheads are interested let me know in this thread please .
I would like to set up a G2G around this, a DYNO DAY if you will ,but I need to know how many are actually going to step up and spend some money .

What? and have all of you guys with the juiced up strokes laugh at my little Mercedes? Would be sort of cool to see just what the little 5 banger puts to the ground though
Juiced up?!?!? Mine is almost stock. The only thing I have that makes any power is the stickers.

I met with Dale and Brian today on the other side of LR where they were set up at a car show . Heres a few things I found out.
1 The owner of the vehicle operates it on the dyno
2 He offers dragstrip runs 1/4 and 1/8 with a tree and reaction times and 60ft times
3 you can mix and match your three pulls hp. torque , 1/4 , 1/8 mile any way you want to . All hp , 2hp runs and a 1/4 mile and so on
4 Dale says that they usually average 3 vehicles an hour on the dyno so we are going to be paying by the hr with a min of 2 hrs we need to get enough people interested in doing this for it to work.
5 Payment of services ; they take cash or cc
6 They also suggested that we could make a challenge out of it by trying to guess you hp #s or dragstrip times and have a 50/50 raffle you buy chances for your guess and athe one who runs the nearest his # get's half the pot.We could use the other half for the chapter or towards paying for the dyno.
7 My dually will fit on it without taking my outside tires off
8 It has a electromagnet set up on it so the dyno has a consent drag all the time and it can also be changed to simulate pulling different % grades
9 It is a Mustang Dyno
Here are a few pictures sorry about the chevy but I didn't take my dually and I was going to waste the money on my son's F150.
The chev had a 350 with a real mild cam, headers, intake , and a 4 barrel and he pulled 290 hp I thought that to be pretty realistic.
