slamming a 65. PICS!

I picked this thing up for 1500 bucks off some kid locally. It was a peice of ****, no lie, tons of bondo, gallons to be more exact, rust, and so much other ****. Now after about 3 grand, its coming together.

truck is going to be slammed, on factory wheels, painted gold flake, and white walls, BUT, i notched it so if i got the money, i could tuck 24s.
painted satin black with gold flake scallops and cream pinstriping, Chopped 3 inches, shaved rain gutter, shaved mirriors, dash, emblems, tailgate. Custom made grill(photos once its done about 1/2 way finished now) and a built 352/c6.

how it looked when i bought it.

Nice fab work. You'll be entering limbo contests in no time. Now your not one of the crazy guys that drags the rear end of his truck down the road are you? lol. We had a local guy that would drag all around down. Surprised the cops didn't put a stop to that one. He must of welded up some extra steal underneath to drag on.

4 inch drop i beams from aim industries.

dont order them, you could build them yourself. I just don't have machine tools so i could build the drop part for them. they where way to expensive for what you get.
Disk brake conversion, power steering. and slam specialties re7s

oh it will be drug down the road, but not frame or anything, drag blocks, i have some 3 inch thick steal i got at the scrap yard, ill fab that up under there on some removable blocks so i can put them in if i want to drag it.

I'm not much for the whole draggin your waggin thing, however the bag mount work is really cool looking. Your pulling off some great looking work and not just hack jobbing the **** out of an old slick. Thumbs up!

First and foremost Welcome to FTE. I am going to enjoy this, expect will be seeing this ride in a Car Show in near future. Bookmarked this thread, I will never get to this level but truly enjoy observing the progress of another truck enthusiast's project. Looking forward to additional pic's.

Hey dragginwagon, I think I mentioned this before, but I do like your truck. The work you've done to it is pretty rad.

And Brandonwillis90, can't wait to see some results. I'll be following the build.

Hey guys good looking trucks, Though I dont plan on draggin grass...I am going to play in the weeds...plan on getting the 3 inch drop beams from DJM in the next week or so... and converting over to disc brakes. Droping the back down however much it takes to get it raked out right. 20s in back 18s in front...Kudos for some sweet looking rides.
