Would like to know the correct engine colors for a '52 239 flattie ? Block ,intake ,heads ,pan & etc.I see some small flakes of dull green on some items .This truck will be bone stock when completed .Thanks Denny
Dupli-color's engine enamel Detroit Diesel Green (DE 1618) is almost a perfect match, most of the guys use it, and mine has held up great, getting kicked around the shop...
I had to order mine - they carry Dupli-color a lot of places, but few stock the Detroit Diesel Alpine Green - here's a link to Dupli-color's website and color:
Thanks for the information on the engine color, it worked great on my 53' Merc engine. Would anyone know the color of red used on the 1953 Mercury wheels?
