6.4 getting 6.4 MPG

i have an 08 f350 diesel 2wd reg cab flatbed that i mostly use for towing my goosneck trailer and it is only getting 6.4 MPG.

my question is what are some things that i can do to get bettter fuel milage?

Intake, exhaust, any little tricks? I dont want to void my factory warranty though.
thanks.

Is that empty or while towing the loaded trailer?

Full intake and DPF back exhaust might, might pick up 0.5mpg. That is at least what I saw when I put on the S&B intake and 5" MBRP exhaust, but I'm already at 11-12mpg. When talking with the dealer they were real adimate about voiding the warrenty with just these upgrades. If you go that far the next step would be to tune the truck and remove the DPF. Take a look at the thread "Pics of my new trailer behind my rig" by SouthTexasDiesel, he states his milage, and it's better than yours.

Yea, but everything I have done for mileage and power will void my warranty if I bring it into the dealership like it is right now. I also ordered my truck specifically for mileage and towing, 6-speed tranny, 3.73's, etc.

I'll have that trailer loaded down this weekend with a 16,500 lb. packer. At best I'll be getting 10mpg.
